You must craft your own story and present it to the judges. The genre options include horror, romance, thriller, murder, mystery, or real-life incidents.

Rules

• Ensure the story is Original.
• Speaking time is limited to 5-6 minutes, with a grace period of 30 seconds.
• Content generated by artificial intelligence (AI) is not permitted.
• Avoid the use of foul language.
• Dress appropriately for the presentation.

Format

• There will be two teams - For the motion and Against the motion of the given topic.
• Each team will have 3-4 members. They will have to prepare their material in support or against the given topic beforehand.
• Each member will have 2.5 minutes to speak which will be followed by questions put up by the opposing team. Maximum 3 questions can be asked.
• The participant will have a minute per question, within which he/she will have to formulate and articulate their answers.
• A debate master will conduct and coordinate the debate.

• Both teams need to have equal number of participants.
• The matter should be presented in English only.
• Participants must not exceed 2.5 minutes time limit for speech and 1 minute time limit for answering each question put up.
• The opposing team have to wait their turn to put up questions. Interjecting, interrupting, and cross questioning is strictly not allowed.
• The teams have to remain disciplined at all times, and follow all instructions given by the debate master.

This will be an entertaining quiz featuring questions from both Hollywood and Bollywood, as well as some popular TV series. We will display pictures, snippets, play dialogues, songs, etc., and you have to guess accordingly.

Each student will select their own genre and prepare the front and back pages of their book, including a synopsis like any other novel. They must include “New York Times Best Seller” at the top, along with their book title and their name or pen name. During the presentation, they will showcase their book on the projector, explaining its storyline, release date, price, and reasons why people should buy it. They must persuade the audience to purchase their book and they should explain why it’s special.

Participants are required to deliver a pitch to the respective judges regarding their product or idea.
